To attract new members, I made a pricing mistake that nearly killed the community I worked so hard to build. I undervalued my community and paid the price.

For the 12-month period ending in July 2025, Western New York added 7,800 private-sector jobs, a 1.5% increase, bringing the total to about 543,600. Most gains came in education & health services, leisure & hospitality, and trade/transportation/utilities. Manufacturing was the big loser, with a drop of roughly 1,600 jobs.
